Rated top in Scotland and 6 th in the UK (out of 120 institutions) for teaching quality, Dundee is a top research institution as well. The size of 9,000 undergraduates makes it an ideal size for Duquesne students, since the two universities share being regarded as full universities but on a manageable scale.

Scotland and Dundee are ideal places for American students. Dundee and the University are attractively situated along the River Tay with river walks and bicycling paths stretching along the banks of the river. The city itself is a one-hour train ride from Edinburgh, from which you can easily access the rest of England and Europe.
