Tour Prices

$3,795 air, land & cruise inclusive from Pittsburgh. Please call for prices from other cities. Land only price is $2,795; arrival and departure transfers not included. Prices are per person based on double occupancy in an outside cabin. Single travelers please add $995. A 5-day/4-night post-tour extension to Cappadocia & Ankara is available for $745 (single supplement is $145). Business class upgrade on round-trip international flight is available on a request basis – please call for details. Airline taxes and departure fees of $397 per person are billed separately and subject to change. Please Note : This trip involves considerable walking on uneven or cobblestone streets and at sites of ancient ruins. You should be in good physical condition to enjoy the tour to the fullest.

Days 1-4: May 31 – June 3, 2010

Depart U.S./Istanbul

  • Explore fascinating Istanbul. Tour the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, the Grand Bazaar, Topkapi Palace, and more.

 

Day 5: June 4, 2010

Assos/Troy

  • See the World War I battlefield of Gallipoli. Ferry across the Dardanelles to the ancient ruins of Troy.

 

Days 6-7: June 5 – 6, 2010

Kusadasi/Ephesus

  • Explore the Greco-Roman ruins at Pergamum. Tour Ephesus, the world’s best-preserved classical city. Enjoy lunch in the home of a Turkish family.

 

Days 8-11: June 7 – 10, 2010

Turquoise Coast cruise

  • Cruise for four nights aboard a privately chartered gulet yacht. See secluded coves and hidden sites including the Sunken Baths of Cleopatra, a Greek “ghost town,” and a 6 th-century Byzantine monastery.

Days 12-14: June 11 – 13, 2010

Antalya

 

Day 15: June 14, 2010

Depart for U.S.

  • Visit the ancient sites of Perge, Aspendos, and Myra while staying in the Mediterranean resort Antalya.
