Structure of Program

Courses will meet on a four-day-a-week schedule, Monday through Thursday. This four-day schedule will encourage group and individual excursions to Rome, Tuscany and Assisi, as well as other sites in Italy and throughout Europe.

  • A nine-day break is planned near the middle of the semester to permit students to travel to other parts of Europe.
  • Two 3-day group excursions are included, one to Siena/San Gimignano/Assisi; and one to Pompeii/Naples/Capri/ Paestum.
  • Campus is located a short bus ride from the Rome Metro line and downtown Rome is about 12 minutes by subway.
  • A full-time Resident Director, Michael Wright, manages the program, and two resident assistants live with the students.
  • Room and board at the Italian Campus includes three meals per day.

If you are in good academic standing with a minimum GPA of 2.75, you will be welcome to study at the Italian Campus. Space is limited, so students meeting the requirements will be taken on a first-come, first-serve basis. Students must have no academic or judicial/disciplinary actions pending.
