France
University of Paris, Sorbonne

Founded over 700 years ago in 1253, the fame and prestige of the Sorbonne is matched by few institutions. Students attend courses offered by the Cours de CivilisationFrançaise de la Sorbonne designed especially for foreign students. Students also have access to courses at the American University of Paris, the British Institute, and other English-speaking institutions.

Paris, one of the most famous and beautiful cities in the world, has over 90 museums, fine restaurants, sidewalk cafes, and a romantic, urbane tone. Long a mecca for intellectuals, free-thinkers, artists and revolutionaries, Paris is a special city in which to study.
